Had to break my Seoul trip post into two parts because there are too many events to talk about! But I won’t be elaborating much – just a breakdown of my daily itinerary.

To be honest, this trip was meant to be a business trip for me. But because both my husband and I have not been to Seoul, we decided to catch this opportunity to go together as a family for our first overseas trip of the year. Killing two birds with one stone is always the way to go lol!

But before I start, I will be sharing some travel tips and occurrences that happened during this trip that hopefully will be helpful to all of you.

[TRAVEL] 5 things to anticipate when visiting Seoul, South Korea

For those who followed me on my Instagram, you would already know that I just came back from Seoul, South Korea. It was a multipurpose visit; primarily for a very important business trip (more on this soon to be shared) and also, a vacay of course!

Before I get into a more in-depth post on my recent trip to Seoul, I thought I’d do a short post on some of the important things that caught my attention when visiting for the first time. It’s basically a teaser for most of you lots who are going to (or thinking of) visit Seoul!

[TRAVEL] New York City; My sanctuary

“If you are given a one-way ticket to any place in the world, where would it be?”

New York City, New York.

Always.

I have always had this strong affinity, sort of an attachment with NYC – ever since I was a little child. It’s incredibly amazing as to how I got myself to fall head over heels in love with the city, even through reading materials, iconic photographs, TV sitcoms and movies. There are a long list of things to love about New York City, and mine does not even have an end to it.

I promised myself I would bring myself to the iconic city one day, with my own blood, sweat and tears. I was (still am) a firm believer in making my dreams come true through the outcome of my hard work, because I truly believe the sweetness of the reward is greater that way. And with Allah’s will in 2012, my wish was granted. Got accepted to a state uni, secured myself a scholarship, packed my bags and off I went, to the city of my dreams.
